Coco Austin Reveals Why She Still Breastfeeds Her and Ice-T's 5-Year-Old Daughter Chanel
When it comes to breastfeeding, Coco Austin doesn't step on the brakes.
The TV personality sparked a debate about her decision to continue breastfeeding her 5-year-old daughter Chanel, who she greeted with longtime husband Ice-T in November 2015 - the old mom has made it clear she has no intention of quitting until your daughter is done.
"Chanel still likes my breast. She's 5 years old," Coco confirmed to Us Weekly. "A lot of people say, 'Oh, you won't get the food after 2 years. Why are you doing it?' And I think my kid eats steak and hamburgers, she just likes a little snack every now and then and more of the bond between the mother.
While Coco suggested that if her daughter stopped breastfeeding, she would stop breastfeeding, she also admitted that due to societal expectations, she would not end the process. As she put it, "I'm not going to just say, 'No boobs!'"

If you're wondering how exactly she's still breastfeeding, Coco explained that it's more of a night's comfort for her daughter than anything else. "She loves it and it's not like she gets milk from it," said Coco, "but she's getting her little snack and it kind of calms her to fall asleep."
Chanel weighed itself in the matter and told Us weekly: “You know what? The Boo Boo makes me sleep. "
Ultimately, Coco made it clear that she doesn't care about other people's opinions when it comes to bonding with her child. "I don't want to withhold anything from her," said the mother, "just because society says you have to stop after 2."
