Conn. Dentist in Love Triangle Accused of Slashing Neck of Ex-Fiancé’s New Girlfriend with Razor
An orthodontist was charged with attempted murder after allegedly attempting to stab her ex-fiancé's new girlfriend with a razor blade.
The 42-year-old Alika crew from New Rochelle was charged Wednesday with attempted second degree murder, three first degree assaults, two second degree assaults, unlawful first degree detention and the criminal possession of a gun for the police alleged assault, according to a district attorney's press release by Westchester, Anthony A. Scarpino, Jr.
Crews who work at a Stamford, Connecticut dental office are accused of assaulting her ex-fiancé's new girlfriend. She pounced on them from a crouched position behind the driver's seat in the victim's car on July 28. The victim fled the car. Only to be caught by the crew after a brief chase, the prosecutor said.
At that point, the crew allegedly cut the victim's neck with a razor blade, causing significant and possibly permanent damage to the woman's neck, and cut open the victim's hand, which was cut when the victim tried to push the crew away.

The alleged attack took place just a few blocks from where the crew and her ex-fiancé were still living together when the victim allegedly drove away from home after the overnight stay, the press release said.
When neighbors came to help the victim, the crew allegedly fled the scene but returned moments later pretending to be another worried neighbor.
It was only when the police arrived that the victim pointed out the alleged attacker to the crew. She was arrested at the scene.
According to the press release, the crew is now on bail. She is scheduled to return to court on November 2nd.
