Conor McGregor unhappy with UFC light heavyweight Anthony Smith
The UFC star and former two-division champion blasted Smith on Saturday morning for his comments about his status with USADA - the UFC's anti-doping program. While McGregor is still on the UFC roster, he has been eliminated from the USADA testing pool as he recovers from a broken tibia - an injury sustained in his trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier in the summer of 2021.
Smith recently expressed that it bothered him that USADA didn't test McGregor while watching him get "jacked up as shit." Smith listed Chris Weidman and Anderson Silva, both of whom have had similar injuries in the past, as fighters who did not receive the same treatment as McGregor.
Well those comments didn't sit well with the Irishman as he fired back at Smith and explained why his thinking is wrong. Below is McGregor's answer.

McGregor with the voice memo
“This one goes to Anthony Smith. Reports came from your last fight that you broke your leg and you sat and hobbled over. Also, how bad was your injury? It was silence from your trap so obviously it was a miscalculation, he didn't break your leg. So what was it? Was it a stress fracture, what was the problem you had? Because you know what it's like for me, you hobble out of there, that's what I experienced before the break, what I went through at camp and in training.
"I had these stress fractures and they built up over time - even over years of pushing people around. It builds up over time. So keep kicking, mate, till that leg breaks. Until then, buckle up your leg and get the fuck on. Go back into the cage and keep stepping until the damn leg snaps completely and then you're on my level. And then you do what you have to do. I'm a big bad machine, what can I say? God decided it.”
