Could ‘Spider-Man 3’ Adapt Controversial ‘One More Day’ Storyline From the Comics?

Now that Benedict Cumberbatch will return as top magician-doctor Strange alongside Tom Holland in the upcoming “Spider-Man 3”, could the film adapt a controversial Spidey plot from the comic book crossover “One More Day”?
Indeed it could. IGN speculates that the cliffhanger ending to Spider-Man: Far From Home, in which Peter Parker's secret identity was revealed to the world by J. Jonah Jameson, is the perfect setup.
Could the wizard who is now the mentor in "Spider-Man 3" use his magic to restore his secret identity as in the Marvel Cinematic Universe? After "Avengers: Endgame", Doctor Strange is in possession of the Time Stone and may go back in time to prevent Jameson from revealing Spider-Man's identity.
In the comics, following the 2006 release of Civil War # 2, Spider-Man revealed his identity at an internationally televised press conference as a token of support for the Superhuman Registration Act. Peter would regret this decision, as Spider-Man becomes a refugee from justice, endangering loved ones and the crosshairs of every evil he has ever met.

The "One More Day" story begins with Aunt May being shot dead by one of the Kingpin's rented guns. This is where the story gets a little cheesy and fantastic, as Peter himself has to make a deal with the devil Mephisto to save Aunt May's life. In short, the purpose of the "One More Day" story was to bring Peter Parker's secret identity back into the comic strip status quo. Doctor Strange could serve the same purpose in the films as Mephisto does in the comics.
A fun fan theory anyway, but it will be interesting to see how Spider-Man's secret identity problem is handled.
Production of the third "Spider-Man" film is expected to be in front of the cameras in Atlanta this fall, while "Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness" is expected to be produced in London this month.
