Cristiano Ronaldo posted a cryptic message on Instagram accusing the media of telling "lies" and saying he will soon reveal the "truth" about his future.
Speculations about Ronaldo's future have been rife this summer.

He is said to have told Manchester United he wanted to leave in June before missing the club's entire pre-season tour of Thailand and Australia.
Manager Erik ten Hag had insisted the legendary striker was not up for sale amid interest from Chelsea and Bayern Munich. However, a report from The Athletic this week said the Netherlands manager had changed his mind and was open to letting Ronaldo go.
The Athletic's report claimed Ten Hag was unhappy with Ronaldo's attitude as the 37-year-old moaned in training and ate alone in the club's canteen.
On Tuesday, Ronaldo addressed the rumors surrounding his future with a comment he left on an Instagram post claiming Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone was interested in signing him.

"They'll know the truth when they have an interview in a few weeks," he said. It's not clear which interview he was referring to or who he meant by "she".
"The media tells lies," he continued. "I have a notebook and in the last few months of the 100 messages [stories] I've made, only five have been correct.
"Imagine what it's like. Stick with this tip."
Ronaldo returned to United from Juventus last summer and finished last season as the club's top scorer with 24 goals in all competitions.
But he is yet to find the bull's eye this season as United have lost their opening two English Premier League games and found themselves bottom of the table.

Ronaldo's former United team-mate Gary Neville slammed the Portuguese striker on Twitter following his Instagram comment, asking why he can't talk about his future now.
"Why does what I consider to be the greatest player of all time has to wait two weeks to tell Manchester United fans the truth?" said Neville.
"Now get up and talk. The club is in crisis and needs leaders to lead it. He's the only one who can grab this situation by the neck!"
