Cruise giants among companies targeted in 'vaccine passport' investigation
The Florida Department of Health is investigating whether cruise giants in South Florida have violated the state's ban on vaccination cards. Subsidiaries of Doral-based Carnival Corp. (NYSE: CCL), Miami-based Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings (NYSE: NCLH), and the Royal Caribbean Group (NYSE: RCL) were named among 100 companies suspected of violating a law that came into effect on 1st of July. "Under the rule, the Florida Department of Health is now empowered to impose penalties on institutions and bodies that require documentation of vaccination or post-exposure status," said a statement from the Department of Health.
