DaBaby Reportedly Lost Lollapalooza Gig After Promising to Deliver Video Apology

DaBaby reportedly had more to say after his initial apology for his homophobic curse at Rolling Loud Miami and was due to play an apology video ahead of his now-squashed Lollapalooza gig.
As reported by Billboard, DaBaby representatives reached out to seven Fall Festival promoters and assured them that the rapper would have a video apology ready to play before taking the stage at Lolla. The release added that DaBaby's video included "a sincere apology to the LGBTQ + community" regarding the comments he made the week before, but that never came.
DaBaby reportedly missed the deadline for the release of the apology video to festival organizers C3 Presents and Live Nation and, as history now shows, removed it from the list and replaced its time slot with Young Thug. DaBaby has since seen festival drops from Governors Ball, Parklife, Day N Vegas, ACL Fest, and the iHeartRadio Music Festival.
Of course, earlier this week the rapper apologized in text form and not in front of the camera while festivals pulled the plug on his sets.
"I want to apologize to the LGBTQ + community for the hurtful and offensive comments I made," said the rapper on Twitter. “I apologize again for my misinformed comments about HIV / AIDS, and I know it is important to be educated about it. Greetings to all. God bless."
Complex has asked DaBaby representatives for a comment and will update this post if a response is received.
