Dalvin Cook scheduled for MRI after injury vs. Seahawks
Dalvin Cook left Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks with an apparent groin injury.
The returning Minnesota Vikings pulled up his left groin after a run in the third quarter. He hobbled into the locker room with help and was replaced in the Viking backcourt by Alexander Mattison at Minnesota's next property.
Cook returned to the sideline and played one game later in the possession of the Vikings, but was replaced in the field by Mattison one ball later. He did not return. The Seahawks won the game 27-26.
Cooking to have MRI
After the game, Viking head coach Mike Zimmer told reporters that Cook was scheduled for an MRI on Monday.
Cook had 17 carry for 65 yards and five catches for 24 yards with a quick touchdown before leaving the game. In four games before Sunday night, Cook was 464 yards from scrimmage and six touchdowns to focus on Minnesota's offense.
