Darius Leonard calls DeForest Buckner a ‘Create-A-Player’

Whether we like to admit it or not, there was a time in our lives where we created a gamer in a video game and the first thing we did was set the attributes to 99.
It's fun to dominate at an unrealistic rate, even against a computer. There are few players who even sniff what it would be like to dominate the football game like a Create-A-Player would.
But Colt's linebacker Darius Leonard believes the defense has one of those players in the defensive tackle against DeForest Buckner.
"This boy is a Create-A-Player," said Leonard after the win on Sunday. "He's different. There's no one in this NFL who can block him. DeForest is a complete monster."
Buckner dominated the Texans' offensive line for the second time this season on the way to a career high of 3.0 sacks. That's impressive in itself, but even more so when you consider he did it on an ankle that limited him to a seasonal snap rate of 51% on Sunday.
Buckner's presence on the defensive line was incredible and he's the main reason the entire unit made the move forward to the elite category.
“I thank Chris Ballard almost every time I see him for bringing him in. He is amazing. I mean he's a great player, but he's an even better leader and that is what makes him so great, ”said Leonard. “When he went his ankle down in the office, he mostly did everything to play. That shows its toughness there. I give him a lot of credit. Then he comes out and I think he had three bags? That just goes to show what kind of player he is, and he's a dog, and I love playing behind him. "
Buckner is tied for team leadership at 7.5 sacks, and while that number doesn't jump off the page, he's also added 24 quarterback hits and 47 total presses.
Buckner was indescribably impressive this season, and Leonard was hit right on the head compared to an overpowering player in a video game.
