DeSantis taps county judge to replace elected Democrat as Tampa-area prosecutor

Florida's Republican governor is focusing Thursday's executive order and news conference -- which was teased on social media a day earlier -- on the signing of statements by Hillsborough County Attorney Andrew Warren, in which prosecutors across the country swore their offices would not to pursue criminal proceedings against seekers or providers of abortion or gender reassignment treatments.
