Maybe Aaron Rodgers should retire with the Seahawks.
Seattle coach Pete Carroll has shown some 9/11 Truther tendencies. Rodgers apparently too.
Former Packers quarterback DeShone Kizer, who appeared on The Breneman Show podcast, said Rodgers asked Kizer if he believed 9/11 actually happened.
"The first thing that came out of Aaron Rodgers' mouth was, 'Do you believe in 9/11?'" Kizer said. "'What? Do I believe in 9/11? Yeah, why shouldn't I?'"
Rodgers told Kizer to "find out about it."
Apparently, Rodgers got through to Kizer not only about the conspiracy theory that 9/11 was an inside job, but other crazy concepts that many people seem to believe in, against all evidence, logic, and common sense.
"Inner Earth, moon landing, reptilian people," Kizer said. "You all laugh. Do your research, I tell you. Go and research.”
Oh yeah. The dreaded reptilian people.
It's possible Rodgers just messed with Kizer. It's also possible that Rodgers genuinely believes in a variety of wacky conspiracy theories.
Here's hoping the topic comes up on Rodgers' next visit to Joe Rogan. Or maybe Alex Jones.
