DK Metcalf got carted off the field ... because he really needed to use the bathroom

When nature calls, there's not much you can do. Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf found out this Sunday when he was carted off the field so he could go to the bathroom... no, really.
Seahawks fans were briefly in depression as Fox cameras caught Metcalf exiting the field on a cart.
Because the cart is typically used when a player is struggling with a significant injury, there has been speculation as to what happened to Metcalf. Would he miss the rest of the season? Thousands of fantasy teams being ruined in one instance?

no Metcalf just really needed to go to the bathroom, according to TV broadcaster Jen Hale.
That seems too silly to make amends, but just so fantasy managers don't have second thoughts, Metcalf was able to return to the field. He didn't receive a goal the rest of the way, but finished the game with 149 receiving yards.
The Seahawks won the contest 48-45. Metcalf led the team in receiving.
DK Metcalf take the Paul Pierce route to the bathroom
Somehow there is evidence that this has happened before. Boston Celtics star Paul Pierce admitted he really needed to go to the bathroom when he unseated a wheelchair at the 2008 NBA Finals against the Los Angeles Lakers.
It was years before Pierce admitted to this rumor. When asked why he needed a wheelchair to leave court, Pierce said, "Something happened." Pierce thankfully didn't elaborate.
If something similar happened to Metcalf, don't expect to find out any time soon.
