Dog went missing after car crash. He was found days later herding sheep on Idaho farm

Linda Oswald's family was driving their Yukon in North Idaho on Sunday when she collided with another car and sent her border collie and red heeler mix to Tilly through the rear window.
Tilly survived but took off from the crash site on State Highway 41 and drove across the prairie on Hayden Avenue in Rathdrum.
Oswald posted on Facebook about the missing dog on Sunday and wrote that Tilly was "shy" and a "reddish-brown male with (black) markings on his face". Oswald said she and her husband Mike would offer Tilly a treat.
Idaho State Police also released a press release saying Tilly was 2 years old and "wearing a multi-colored plaid and tan collar" and was last seen "running northwest through the field from the crash site."
Zane Potter noticed Tuesday morning that one of her dogs on the farm, 1.5 miles from the scene of the accident, had a different coat and realized it wasn't her Australian shepherd, The Spokesman-Review reported.
Potter said her family's sheep "got scared" and discovered that Tilly was tending sheep, the KHQ reported. According to the broadcaster, the Potters lured Tilly out with some salami.
According to The Spokesman Review, a deputy from the Kootenai County Sheriff's Office came over and looked for Tilly. Zane recognized the dog from the Facebook post and handed it over.
Oswald said she and Mike thought they would never see Tilly again, the KHQ reported.
“Every night when I got home I said, 'We'll never see him again. We just never see him. He's been gone a long time ‘" she said.
Oswald said Tilly had lost weight since the car accident, but was "otherwise healthy," according to the broadcaster.
