Don Lemon Demonstrates Why Donald Trump Is The Irrefutable ‘King Of Cancel Culture’
CNN's Don Lemon on Tuesday reeled off a long list of things Donald Trump attacked, labeled banned or boycotted, to show why the former president is the true "king of demolition culture."
Trump this week called on his supporters to boycott companies and organizations - including Coca-Cola and Major League Baseball - for speaking out against Georgia's new election restrictions.
Although he often repeats the right-wing cry against "breaking off culture", Trump is actually one of the biggest proponents, Lemon said. The anchor "CNN Tonight" then filled the screen with the logos of companies that Trump has called upon to boycott the people over the years.
"The hypocrisy and the double-talk and the shiny objects and the lying go on," Lemon said. “Know your facts, people. Culture is not canceled. Companies say, "This is not in line with our values." And now the former Family Values Party has a problem with values. Interesting."
