Donald Trump Jr. Goes Full 'Super Spreader' At Indoor Campaign Stop
More than 212,000 people in the US died from the coronavirus and a White House outbreak that infected President Donald Trump, and apparently did nothing to teach the Trump boys anything.
Worrying images surfaced Thursday of Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump speaking for their father in what appeared to be COVID-friendly conditions at campaign events.
At Donald Trump Jr.'s event in Panama City Beach, Florida, supporters filled a small meeting room at the Holiday Inn, mostly devoid of social distancing and masks. The video was shown by The Recount. Ron DeSantis, Florida GOP Governor, also appeared.
Twitter users have classified the gathering as a "Super Spreader" threat.
Despite the danger, Brittany Stoll, a Sarasota nurse who worked with coronavirus patients and brought a mask, wasn't put off.
"COVID isn't knocking on your door," Stoll told the Tampa Bay Times. "So if you feel uncomfortable with this, just stay home."
Later that day, Trump Jr. moved outside to stump in a towing company's parking lot in Tampa, nonetheless in violation of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines.
"The coronavirus did not appear to exist at the event," the Tampa Bay Times wrote, adding, "The scene was reminiscent of the rose garden ceremony at the White House late last month, which is now directly related to a dozen positive coronavirus cases. People hugging and taking maskless selfies. Talking, leaning over and shouting over speakers, the REM and Michael Jackson. "
Here is a video:
Meanwhile, Eric Trump was standing up close and personal with his father in Monroe, North Carolina.
