Dozens attack Paris police station
The attackers tried to force entry into the station in Champigny-sur-Marne, about nine miles southeast of central Paris. Nobody was arrested.
The motive for the attack, the third at this police station in two years, was not immediately clear.
The station is located in a housing estate known for drug trafficking and considered a high priority area for recovery by the authorities.
A spate of criminal incidents across France since the COVID-19 lockdown ended in mid-May has put President Emmanuel Macron's administration on high alert over the economic fallout from the pandemic.
