Dr. Dre Files Prenup That Nicole Young Has Contested

We now have more details about Dr. Dre and Nicole Young's chaotic divorce battle.
According to TMZ, the hip-hop mogul recently filed the marriage agreement stating that his estranged wife's claims are no longer valid. The document reportedly states that all properties acquired during the marriage are segregated, meaning they will go away with anything they have individually received or bought over the past 14 years. However, the prenup also states that Young does not waive the right to spousal benefits - a detail that suggests she will receive a large payout. But will it be the $ 2 million monthly payments she's looking for? Only time can tell.
TMZ Reports Dre called Young's request for spouse assistance "ridiculous" and consulted with an accountant who calculated Young's monthly expenses at around $ 300,000. His attorney Laura Wasser also claims Dre has been covering Young's bills since they split up. This supposedly includes paying for her security and the Malibu estate in which she is staying. TMZ also reports that when Young needs money, Dre sends a messenger to deliver the money directly.
There is also a dispute over Young's legal fees. Dre allegedly paid his wife's lawyers nearly half a million dollars, but she claims she needs $ 5 million while her lawyers say they owe $ 1.5 million. According to the records, Dre paid more money to Young's legal team than his own.
Shortly after the divorce, Young claimed she and Dre had never reached a marriage agreement. She later clarified that she was signing one, but Dre tore it open, rendering it null and void. However, after the newly filed prenup, it can only be changed or terminated in writing and there is currently no evidence that this ever happened.
