Draymond Green shuts down chatter that Warriors' dynasty finally validated

Draymond hadn't spoken out about the Dubs dynasty finally being confirmed and originally appeared on NBC Sports Bayarea
In the eyes of many, the Warriors dynasty was cemented in 2018 when they won their second consecutive NBA championship and their third title in four seasons.
A year later, the Warriors went to their fifth straight NBA Finals only to have their quest for a three-peat derailed by injuries to Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson.
The Dynasty then went on a two-year hiatus while Thompson recovered from a cruciate ligament tear and then an Achilles tendon tear, Steph Curry dealt with a broken hand, young players earned their spurs and the front office retooled the roster.
Now, after that hiatus to regroup and catch their breath, the Warriors are back in the NBA Finals for the sixth time in eight years, a feat last matched by the Chicago Bulls in the 1990s.
Still, there are some people right now saying the Warriors are a dynasty to return to the Finals this year, dismissing what the team did from 2014/15 to 2018/19.
Draymond Green has none of it.
"I heard all the talk," Green said on the latest episode of "The Draymond Green Show" this week. "You can't help but hear it. Like the Warriors dynasty and that trio and blah blah blah. I'll tell you, going to those NBA Finals and possibly winning a championship, I think it only helps. But the dynasty was intact before, that doesn't shape the dynasty, the dynasty was shaped.
“And it just keeps getting better and better and just picking it up. But that doesn't shape the dynasty by any means, but it definitely doesn't shape Steph Curry or Klay Thompson or me or whoever. We have done this and yes it's great to be back in this position. I know people need things to talk about, but that doesn't decide or suddenly people go, "Oh yeah, that's a dynasty." no Stop it. Was a dynasty.”

Green and the Warriors are attempting to win their fourth NBA title in eight years, a feat very few franchises in history can claim.
It's pretty dynastic.
