Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz are BFF targets on Barrymore's latest Instagram photo, which lauded the two as timeless beauties.
The women, who make up two-thirds of Charlie's Angels from the 2000 film (also starring Lucy Liu), look cozy in a new take posted on the talk show host's social media. And although it's been 21 years since the two first appeared as angels, many comment on what it seems like no time has passed.
"Bestie Lesson with my Bestie Poo Poo !!" Barrymore has subtitled the photo of himself, 46, and Diaz, 49,.
The post was immediately flooded with comments sharing the love and support of dear friends.
"Two gorgeous women!" one person wrote while another commented, "2 beauties inside and out."
Most of the others, however, commented on how "gracefully" the couple has aged.
"I love that, beauty without filters and amplifiers," remarked one fan. "Social media need more of that."
Another said, "I think it's great that you two are so natural, with no botox and no filters !!! Natural aging is amazing."
While Diaz has admitted having had botox in the past, she opened up to Entertainment Tonight in 2014 about her regrets about it. "I've tried [botox] before where it was like a tiny touch of something. It changed my face in such a strange way that I thought, 'No, I don't want to be like' [that] '" she said at the time, "I'd rather see my face age than a face that doesn't belong to me at all."
Just recently, in February 2020, Diaz announced that she would not do anything at all.
"I've never done anything to my face before and I want to try not to," she shared during an episode of the Drew Barrymore Show. "The thing that is important to me and that is still relevant to my life is the face. I know myself. I am a very addicting person. I will give an injection, I will look like Jocelyn Wildenstein until Friday." “She said, referring to the American celebrity who is known for her excessive cosmetic surgery.
And while Barrymore added, "Never say never," she told Glamor UK that starting her own line of cosmetics, Flower Beauty, has helped her learn various tricks and products that she can use to tackle imperfections.
"Not messing with my face or chasing unnatural beauty is a standard I live by," she said. "I feel more human and vulnerable every year of my life, but I also appreciate more and more every year."
