Driver in crash that killed Jets coach Greg Knapp will not be charged

The driver who hit New York Jets coach Greg Knapp with his car is not being charged with Knapp's death, according to the New York Post.
Prosecutors issued a statement Friday saying there was insufficient evidence of criminal negligence to bring charges.
"Prosecutors have determined that there is not enough evidence to meet the required standard of criminal negligence of the suspected driver," the office said in a statement to The Post on Friday. “That the dangers of distracted driving are known. In order to really promote road safety, drivers must also be attentive drivers. "
