Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson breaks Instagram records after endorsing Biden-Harris for president: 'Always speak your truth'
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson discovered on Thursday that he had reached a milestone of 200 million followers on Instagram, making him the most visited man in America on the social media platform.
The feat comes little more than a week after the action star and former WWE wrestler endorsed former Vice President Joe Biden and Senator Kamala Harris in the upcoming presidential election against President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence. Since then, it has gained around 200,000 Instagram followers, according to Trackalytics, which provides statistics on social media.

Johnson was wearing a bow tie and opening a bottle of his Teremana brand of tequila as he talked about what he has learned over the past few weeks.
"The life lesson I want to share with you all is always to tell your truth," said Johnson. “Always speak your truth and do your best to speak your truth with compassion, a little poise, a little dignity, respect and empathy, even if you are telling your truth, it means that you will get into some conversations that might be Make people a little uncomfortable. "
Such discussions are important, he said, because on the other side there is clarity and progress. "And I want to say to you, thank you, thank you, thank you, I mean, deep here in my bones, thank you guys for giving me the space to speak my truth," he added.
Johnson's endorsement by the president was a big deal to him because he had never done one before. The 2020 highest-paid actor had a virtual discussion with the two he'd added to his post, according to Forbes, and publicly supported the Democratic Ticket.
The skyscraper star said at the time that he had voted for both Republicans and Democrats in the past. He described himself as "politically independent and centrist for many years", but this year Biden and Harris are "the best choices to run our country".
