Dwyane Wade Jokes He and Gabrielle Union Would Have to Do 'Therapy' If Competed on New Game Show
Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union both want to be in charge, says the retired NBA player.
In an interview with PEOPLE (the TV show) host Kay Adams about the new TBS game show The Cube that he is hosting, Wade, 39, was asked how he and his wife Union, 48, would feel if they were on a competition would participate in the series.
"We'd have to do therapy after and before the show," joked Wade.
The show follows as a team of two trying to finish a series of games that appear (but in reality are not) simple while inside a structure. Players must complete seven tasks - and get help from Wade - to win $ 250,000.
"I mean, I have great credit to the couples who appear on the show," said Wade.
Wade and actress Union have been together for over a decade and have been married for six years. The couple share the 2-year-old daughter Kaavia and the children Zaya (13), Zaire (19) (Wade from his first marriage), Xavier (7) (Wade comes from an ex) and Dahveon (19) (Wade's nephew).

Wade, who recently announced that he has joined the Utah Jazz ownership group, also told PEOPLE that he supports his wife exactly as she is.
"She had a career and a life before we met and she was perfectly fine," said Wade. "It's not my job to change it, it's my job to be part of the development. In this partnership I have to lead sometimes, times when I have to step back and times when we are side by side. And I know when to shut up! "
