Elon Musk's son X Æ a-Xii was present at Twitter meetings after the purchase was finalized, WaPo reported.
Musk and his close circle took up a room at Twitter headquarters to discuss the site's future.
Two-year-old X Æ a-Xii, Musk's first child with Grimes, was running around while meeting up with Yoel Roth, according to WaPo.
Elon Musk brought his two-year-old son X Æ a-Xii to Twitter headquarters in San Francisco for intense talks, The Washington Post reported.
The publication reported that on Oct. 27, the day Musk took over the platform, the tech billionaire and his team met with Trust and Security Officer Yoel Roth in the conference room Musk took over to discuss his plans for the future to sketch the site. The Post reported that toys were scattered around the room and X Æ a-Xii was running around.
Immediately after closing the $45 billion deal, Musk fired some of Twitter's top executives, including Chief Legal Officer Vijaya Gadde, CEO Parag Agrawal, CFO Ned Segal, and General Counsel Sean Edgett. Gadde's resignation meant Roth was suddenly the senior executive in Twitter's trust and security department.
Members of Musk's inner circle, which include his personal attorney Alex Spiro, tech investor Jason Calacanis and venture capitalist David Sacks, joined Musk at Twitter headquarters in his so-called "war room" after the deal closed. Musk, his advisers and senior Twitter executives used the space to discuss topics ranging from layoffs to the site's engineering.
The Post reported that the meeting between Musk and Roth, where they discussed moderating content, including issues related to the Brazilian general election, came shortly after Gadde was fired. X Æ a-Xii may have been at Twitter headquarters that day to attend the office Halloween party, to which some employees brought their children.
Roth finally resigned around two weeks later. He had clashed with Musk over issues including allowing controversial Christian news outlet The Babylon Bee and conspiracy theorist Jordan Peterson to return to Twitter, as detailed in the Post's report.
"A Twitter whose policies are defined by edict hardly needs a trust and security function dedicated to its principled development," Roth wrote in an op-ed for the New York Times after resigning.
Musk is believed to have had 10 children, although his firstborn died of cot death when he was just 10 weeks old. X Æ a-Xii, who he had with fellow musician and ex-partner Grimes, was Musk's seventh child.
He has since had twins with Shivon Zilis, a top executive at Musk's company Neuralink, and his first daughter through a surrogate with Grimes.
