Emilia Clarke Has Sad Answer For What Happens To Drogon In 'Game Of Thrones'
If you're a fan of Drogon in Game of Thrones, prepare to feel burned.
At last year's HBO fantasy show finale, fans' favorite dragon takes away the lifeless body of his mother Daenerys from King's Landing. The last thing we hear is that Drogon is reportedly headed towards Volantis.
Numerous theories surfaced after the episode, speculating that maybe the dragon was looking for a red priestess to bring Daenerys back to life, or that he just ate her.
According to Emilia Clarke herself, this is not one of the above.
TV Line recently shared a nugget from the oral story by journalist James Hibberd "Game of Thrones," "Fire Can't Kill a Dragon," and revealed that Clarke has a sad theory about what happened to her fire-breathing baby.
“I think it flies around with your body until it decomposes. I literally think he will fly until he can no longer fly, ”she says in the book. "He just keeps mourning."
Let the mother of dragons free the mother of all fools.
Of course, Clarke cannot be sure of the exact fate of the dragon. In the season eight Blu-ray commentary, she even mentioned to show runners David Benioff and Dan Weiss that she thought Drogon was going to eat her.
They denied it, but hey, all that flying must starve a good boy.
