Ex-Pence Aide Olivia Troye Exposes How Trump Really Treated Fauci Behind The Scenes

A former advisor to Vice President Mike Pence said Dr. Anthony Fauci, one of the foremost infectious disease experts in the country, has been tossed aside many times by President Donald Trump and senior members of the government.
"I've seen Donald Trump and senior White House officials routinely get out of the way and discredit Dr. Fauci both privately and publicly," said Olivia Troye, who was a member of the coronavirus task force, in a new video posted by Republican Voters Against Trump.

Earlier this week, the Trump campaign ran an ad that used non-contextual comments from Fauci to create the impression that he was complimenting the president.
Fauci said he doesn't talk about Trump or support candidates. He told The Daily Beast that the campaign "actually harassed" me by running the misleading ad.
Troye, who said she was working side by side with Fauci, called the Trump campaign video "gross and disturbing and typical of a White House disregarding the truth".
Republican voters against Trump said the ad will air digitally in swing states and on television during Fox and Friends, a show Trump is known to watch.
"Olivia Troye was in the room when the administration ignored, disagreed and discredited Dr. Fauci," Sarah Longwell, strategic director of Republican Voters Against Trump, said in a press release. "The Trump campaign, twisting his words on a television commercial, is just another example of the irresponsibility and mendacity so many Republicans are tired of."
Republican voters against Trump have highlighted the votes of disappointed party members who are fed up with the president and now support former Vice President Joe Biden. They've also created some attention-grabbing videos of former Trump administration insiders, including Troye, former Homeland Security chief of staff Miles Taylor, and Elizabeth Neumann, a former senior Homeland Security officer.
