Fact check: Congressman did not 'just' submit resolution calling for Pelosi's expulsion

The claim: A congressman has "just" tabled a bill to drive Nancy Pelosi out of the house
At a time of intense preselection coverage, a news website received several thousand shares on social media with an article about a resolution "just" introduced by a Congressman to oust House Speaker Nancy Pelosi from office.
American Web Media highlighted its article on its October 5th AWM America Facebook page with the headline, "A Congressman just passed a bill to remove Nancy Pelosi from the house."
An accompanying note repeats the sentence and refers to the AWM online article.
USA TODAY asked AWM for a response but did not receive an immediate response.
One solution, not one invoice
Rep. Ralph Abraham, R-La., Has not tabled a bill, as the article said. Rather, he put forward a resolution that reads: "Resolved that, under Article I, Section 5, Clause 2 of the United States Constitution, Representative Nancy Pelosi is and is hereby expelled from the House of Representatives." The speaker's office is declared vacant. "
The resolution would be more accurately referred to as a "simple resolution", which the Library of Congress describes as "legislation relating to the operation of a single chamber or expressing that chamber's collective opinion on public policy issues".
A simple resolution, if passed, only expresses that Chamber's view and will not be passed on to the Senate.
A simple resolution is different from a "bill," which is a proposed bill that, when it comes from the House and passed by that body, is sent to the Senate for consideration. A joint resolution also has the same effect as a draft law.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California will hold a weekly press conference on Capitol Hill in Washington on Thursday, October 1, 2020.
The simple resolution was approved by Rep. Rick Allen, R-Ga., Rep. Eric Crawford, R-Ark. And Rep. Alexander Mooney, R-W.Va.
It has been referred to the Ethics Committee and the Regulatory Committee. The Democrat-dominated house has taken no further action.
The action came in 2019, not "just" now
Regarding the Facebook post, timing is crucial in assessing its accuracy.
While the post and the heading of the article state that the bill has "just been introduced," Abraham put the simple resolution for consideration on October 8, 2019, almost a year ago.
Merriam-Webster defines "fair" as "very new" in terms of timing.
A press release issued by Abraham in October 2019 sets the context for the events at the time:
"Nancy Pelosi's vicious crusade against our legitimately elected President is nothing more than a politically motivated witch hunt and must be stopped. She shamed the People's House and armed the spokeswoman's gavel for her party's political gain.
"The House Democrats have been obsessed with meddling in elections for nearly three years, only to dwarf such efforts with their own fraudulent scheme to nullify the 2016 election and prevent President Trump from winning 2020. Me have put forward a resolution demanding that she be expelled from the house and that the speaker's office be vacated. "
The AWM article Facebook is referring to was not updated until October 3, 2020, but continues to use the heading "just launched".
The text of the article does not contain the date, it simply states that "Abraham filed a motion to expel Pelosi from the House of Representatives." The article does not refer to any bill or resolution.
The fact-checking website's lead stories declared the release to be untrue.
Our verdict: wrong
The evidence shows that on October 8, 2019, the congressman introduced a "simple resolution" and not a bill that would not take place as "just".
