Farrah Abraham Is Returning to Teen Mom Franchise for MTV Spin-Off Series

Farrah Abraham is ready to go back to her MTV roots and join a new teen mom spin-off series. Although the reality TV personality hasn't publicly confirmed her latest venture yet, a source tells E! News that the 30-year-old star is currently filming with fellow cast members from Teen Mom OG and Teen Mom 2. Apart from Farrah's casting, it is not known who will be featured in the spin-off.
According to the insider, the format of the upcoming show will be similar to Big Brother's setup. But instead of hiding the MTV stars in a house, they will spend the night in a hotel. As for the premise of the new series? Well, it's all about the drama.
“The goal, of course, is to create drama and fighting,” reveals the source, adding, “Throwing Farrah into the mix will ignite that. There have already been many conflicts. "

People who received an exclusive photo on set reported that Farrah had already been spotted filming.
Farrah's MTV comeback marks the beginning of a new era for the star, especially after she filed a $ 5 million lawsuit in 2018 claiming she was fired from the network for continuing to pursue opportunities in the adult entertainment industry.

In court documents that E! News At the time, the author of My Teenage Dream Ended accused producers and crew members of "molesting, humiliated and discriminated against" and "disrespecting, ridiculous and sexually embarrassed".
In response to their allegations, MTV parent company Viacom gave E! News with the words, "We respect Farrah's decision to pursue other efforts and wish her well. The claims regarding her lawsuit are unfounded."
The network aired in March 2018 when Farrah left Teen Mom OG and left the show entirely.
“To be honest, webcams or adult entertainment or healthy sex life or safe sex or all of those things. All of that is more useful and I'll keep doing this when it's my own show, not on MTV, ”she explained on a phone call to producer Morgan J. Freeman (whom she allegedly filed an internal complaint against). "There are so many paths for me in my life."
When Morgan told her to do what is best for her family and career, she made her decision.
"Well then I'll just ask my lawyer to contact you and I wish you all the best," Farrah said. "Thank you, have a nice night."

That same month, Farrah dropped the lawsuit and reached a private settlement with Viacom.
At this point there is still a premiere date for the teen mom spin-off. E! News has asked MTV to comment on the upcoming series but has not yet received a response.
