Finally! Three-time major winner Anna Nordqvist weds Tour caddie two years after original date

Congratulations to three-time Major winner Anna Nordqvist!
After a 760-day delay — more than two years after her original wedding date — the 2021 AIG Women's Open winner officially married PGA Tour caddy and Scot Kevin McAlpine in the Scottish countryside on August 10.
The nine-time LPGA winner gave a glimpse of the event in late July when she competed in the Trust Golf Women's Scottish Open where she finished T-38.

“I've had my dress for almost three years now. I hope it will still be ok in two weeks. I have to leave out the sweets here," said the 35-year-old jokingly. "...Our closest and dearest friends and family will be there, so I'm really looking forward to spending the day with them."
McAlpine, who is currently caddies for PGA Tour pro Martin Laird, chanced upon the Swedish player about five years ago while skating for Lexi Thompson on the LPGA circuit.
"She's one of the nicest people I've met in my life. I got her out of her shell a bit. She had been reserved; Golf was her whole thing and I know what it's like," McAlpine told The Scotsman last year. "You can get caught up in it, and it's just golf, golf, golf, but there's more to life than that. I think she realizes that; I realized that a long time ago.”
Unfortunately, the newly minted McAlpines won't be able to go on their honeymoon any time soon. Anna has three months until the LPGA season finale at the CME Group Tour Championship in November. She is currently ranked 25th in the Rolex Women's World Golf Rankings.
