Nice from the house
Tarek El Moussa and Christina Anstead wowed us with their fantastic designs in the ninth season of Flip or Flop. They also made us laugh with their goofy antics and playful thrusts (remember when Haack El Moussa said he looked like a "bald kitten?"). Thankfully, the fun isn't over yet: HGTV announced in a press release today that Flip or Flop will be returning with five new episodes starting Thursday, April 29th at 9 p.m. ET / PT.
The network determined that these episodes will be a sequel to season nine, which originally premiered on HGTV on October 15, 2020. The last new episode of the ninth season aired in January of this year. Now, after a short break, the last five episodes will be broadcast and the season ended with 15 episodes. El Moussa took to Instagram to share the good news.
In addition to a photo of him with co-star Christina Haack, El Moussa let fans know what to expect in these new episodes. "I know I'm a little biased but this season is the best we've had so far," he wrote. The flips are better, the transformations are insane, "he revealed, adding that fans can expect to see behind-the-scenes moments with themselves, Haack, their two children and ... his fiancée, Heather Rae Young.

In this case, Young would be seen on flip or flop for the first time. To freshen up, El Moussa and Haack were married from 2009 to 2016. They started this show as a husband and wife and continued filming after their divorce, keeping their personal lives off camera with the exception of their children.
On top of that, Haack also went to Instagram to promote the new episodes and left an interesting detail on her post. After noting the premiere date of this next episode, she wrote: "And ... don't worry ... after this season we will definitely still be there. The show that never ends."
Some fans commented on the post in response to Haack's comment. "Please don't stop. I love this show. Your ideas are amazing," wrote one fan. Another wrote, "I don't want it ever to end !!! Love your friendship so much fun !!!"
What does that mean exactly? TBD. We just look forward to seeing stunning renovations from our preferred home renovation experts.
