A healthcare worker and all 15 of her friends have reportedly signed on to Covid-19 after spending a night together in a bar in Jacksonville, Florida when the state reopened amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Erika Crisp, 40, told local news agencies that she and her friends had stayed at home and had become socially distant because of the novel corona virus - until they decided to have a drink earlier this month.

In Florida, bars and restaurants resumed operations at 50 percent capacity the day before Lynch's Irish Pub visit to Jacksonville Beach on June 6.
Ms. Crisp told News4Jax that she and her friends were "negligent" and did not wear masks during their night. More than a week later, the doctor confirmed that she was sick and short of breath and had tested positive for the novel virus with her friends.
Florida has seen an unprecedented surge in coronavirus cases after entering the second phase of its reopening plans in June, enabling the reopening of gyms and amusement parks, as well as hairdressing and nail salons, provided the appropriate social distance guidelines are followed.
With more than 76,000 infections in the state since the pandemic began and new daily highs of over 2,500 cases on Saturday, some bars and venues in Florida have decided to close the public again.
"We went to a public place where we shouldn't have been," Ms. Crisp said of the evening. "I think we had a whole mentality that was out of sight and mind. The state reopened and said everyone was fine, so we took advantage of that. "
Ms. Crisp added that she regretted her decision to follow the state's reopening plans and said to the television station: We should wear masks. We should distance ourselves socially. "
She added: "It was too early to open everything again."
Lynch has been reported to have spent $ 7,000 on a thorough cleaning after an infection rash was reported.
Keith Doherty, the bar's general manager, told the news agency that all 49 of his employees had been tested for the novel virus. Seven of these employees tested positive.
The bar should be reopened with additional hygiene measures, including temperature checks for all employees, hand sanitizers that are located throughout the venue, and frequent cleaning.
