Ford Maverick First Edition revealed in marketing materials

We have known since an official announcement last month that Ford intends to launch the Maverick pickup with a First Edition for early adopters. What we didn't know was what it would look like. However, a fan on a Maverick forum appears to have received a picture of leaked marketing materials.
The image was posted on the Maverick Truck Club website and shows a Maverick with the heading "First Edition Package Contents". The truck itself is painted Area 51 Blue Gray, one of three colors available for the First Edition (the others are Carbonized Gray and Rapid Red).
The most striking feature is a graphics package that darkens the middle area of the bonnet and paints the roof in gloss black. The electrically sliding sunroof is covered by the paint, but it's there. It also adds some hockey stick strips to the lower door sills that are reminiscent of the 1970 Mustang Boss 302 and several special edition Mustangs since then.
As for the fixtures and fittings, there is a soft tarpaulin to add some privacy to the bed, usually a $ 560 option, and that's about it. The picture also calls out black "skull caps" for the side mirrors and door handles in body color. The latter, however, are already available for the Lariat equipment on which the First Edition is based.
Speaking of which, the First Edition not only requires the Lariat equipment for US $ 26,985, but also the Luxury package for US $ 3,340, which includes adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability and lane centering, evasive steering assistance, and holding brakes Adds collision and rear parking sensors, an upgraded 8-inch touchscreen with Ford's Sync 3 infotainment system, wireless charging, upgraded USB ports, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, satellite radio, and an eight-speaker B&O sound system. The First Edition costs an additional $ 1,495.
That adds up to at least $ 31,820, but the truck is apparently already in high demand. Ford reported 36,000 reservations for the Maverick in the first week of ordering.
