Forget ''Rise and Shine,'' Kylie Jenner Has a New Song That Even Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner Are Loving
It's the music collaboration that has to happen: the Jonas Brothers feat. Kylie Jenner.
Joe Jonas proved he was a huge fan of Kylie's singing skills when he and wife Sophie Turner rocked to their latest jingle and shared their lip-syncing skills on TikTok.
Joe posted a video on Friday October 9th of show business spouses singing "Wasted," a new mini-song that Kylie debuted in the October 8th episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
The iconic moment came at a family dinner during a tumultuous trip to Palm Springs. Kylie ordered some of her favorites, Don Julio 1942 tequila, and asked for "42 on the rocks and a ginger ale".
The 23-year-old then sang: "Because I'm wasted." I've just had a whole cup at 42 and I'm about to get my second one. "She turned to Kourtney Kardashian and asked," Kourtney, what the hell are you up to ?! "
Kylie's sister replied, "I don't know what's going on, so I just appreciate my bread." The same, Kourtney, the same.
Kylie Jenner and Stormi Webster's Twinning Moments
But Joe and Sophie clearly knew what was going on when they turned the tune into the karaoke night of our dreams. Sophie wore sweat and a water bottle and acted out tipsy Kylie. Meanwhile, Joe was playing Kourtney, dipping his spoon into Menchie's frozen yogurt in place of their bun.
Kylie Jenner, Stormi, Halloween
To be honest, who needs "Rise and Shine" afterwards?
Kylie sang the now famous wake-up melody for daughter Stormi Webster (2) in a clip that went viral in October 2019. The pop star attracted attention to Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande.
Ariana asked, "Can I try." And of course the answer was yes. Kylie wrote back, "As long as I'm on the music video," which is pretty likely since mom Kris Jenner made a cameo on Ariana's "Thank U, Next" music video in 2018.
Most importantly, "Rise and Shine" was approved by Stormi ... even though she mistakenly thought the song was part of Papa Travis Scott's music catalog. Stormi, who recently went to school in style with a $ 12,000 Hermes backpack, played the song to Kylie in return, which made for a sweet mother-daughter moment.
If all goes well, Kylie could benefit from her new "wasted" music, as she did on her debut single. The founder of Kylie Cosmetics wasted no time in the past year decorating merch with "Rise and Shine".
She even performed it at a Christmas party with KKW Beauty, but she vowed to sell tickets in the future: "Next time I'll be paid by the king."
Maybe she would make an exception by performing it on a future play date between little Stormi and Willa, the 2 month old daughter of Joe and Sophie.
It's safe to say that Mr. and Mrs. Jonas are almost as excited as we are that Kylie will one day drop an album.
