Former WWE champ Alberto Del Rio indicted on kidnapping and sexual assault charges

Former WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio was charged with kidnapping and sexual assault on Friday, according to News 4 San Antonio.
Del Rio - whose real name is Jose Rodriguez Chucuan - was charged by a grand jury with kidnapping and four sexual assaults. He was arrested in May after allegedly sexually assaulting a woman. Del Rio was released on bail after being arrested.
Del Rio is charged with sexual assault as well as threatening the victim. He allegedly told the victim that he would take her son with him and "drop him somewhere in the middle of the street".

Del Rio joined WWE in 2009 and worked his way up to eventually become the first Mexico-born WWE Champion. Del Rio left the company for a short period in 2014, but returned in 2015. Del Rio left WWE again in 2016 and switched to impact wrestling until 2018.
