Gabby Petito's funeral taking place today as 'Dog the Bounty Hunter' joins search for her fiance

On Sunday, funeral services were held in New York for Gabby Petito, the 22-year-old blogger whose murder during a cross-country adventure sparked national interest and spurred a manhunt for her missing fiancé and now wanted.
Services were held in Holbrook, near the Bayport-Blue Point ward where Petito grew up and became Brian Laundrie's high school mistress before the couple moved to Florida.
Laundrie was last seen 12 days ago telling his parents he was hiking in the Carlton Reserve, an extensive wilderness and wetland area near his home in North Port. Authorities have been searching the sanctuary for more than a week and were back this weekend.
TV personality Duane Lee Chapman, "Dog the Bounty Hunter," has joined the search for the past few days, promising to snap up Laundrie's parents before his 24th birthday on Nov. 18.
"The reason I went to see Mr. (Christopher) Laundrie is because I have a reputation with me," he told Fox News Digital moments later. “The call is, 'He's giving you a second chance. He'll get you, but he'll give you a second chance. "

Chapman told the New York Post that he was not convinced that Laundrie was on the 25,000-acre reservation. He said he had already received hundreds of tips on his own hotline suggesting that Laundrie was on the Appalachian Trail, where he had camped for months in the past.
"That's what he does, he's a wilderness guy," Chapman told the Post.
Laundrie, 23, left Long Island with Petito in July on a month-long trip to Oregon. Laundrie returned to Florida alone on September 1st. Petito's body was found near a campsite in Wyoming a week ago.
Laundrie refused to speak to law enforcement during the search for Petito, and he disappeared before her body was found. An indictment released Thursday by the Wyoming District of the United States accused Laundrie of unauthorized use of a Capital One debit card and multiple accounts in excess of $ 1,000.
The indictment also accuses Laundrie of unauthorized access to a device, saying he used the bank accounts without permission from August 30 to September 1.
