However, I was molested by a black man this morning at 5:30 a.m. on Richview and Park Ave in Tallahassee, Florida. The man offered to take me to find a place to sleep and collect my belongings from a church that I had fled for a few days to escape unjust living conditions.
He was disguised as a man of God and picked me up from nearby Saxon Street. I only got into his truck because I have something to defend myself with, not even a phone (currently in church) and poor visibility. I trusted the Holy Spirit to protect myself.

Gabrielle also learned about her experience with graphic details. In her book "We'll need more wine" she wrote about rape at gunpoint and shared extracts with glamor.
"He threw me to the ground and was suddenly on top of me and spread my legs when he held the gun on my head. When he raped me I started to hover over myself. I could see the whole room. I saw this poor cry of girls and thought that things like that happen to bad people. Things like that don't happen to people like me ...
Finally he snatched the gun out of my hand. He put the barrel on my head and stood over me. "Now I have to kill you, bitch." ... As soon as everything happened, he was calm. And again, he said very casually. "How do I get out of here?" I pointed to the back exit and he went out and I was alone. I never saw him again. "
Investigations into Salau's death are ongoing and Tallahassee police have one suspect per person in custody. There is a GoFundMe campaign to help their family spend.
