General Motors' Chevy Silverado Pickup Is Going Electric. But When?
General Motors (NYSE: GM) confirmed on Tuesday what most electric vehicle investors suspected: A battery-electric version of the best-selling Chevrolet Silverado pickup is on the way. At an event at GM's Factory ZERO, a Detroit facility being refurbished to build electric vehicles, President Mark Reuss confirmed that the new electric Silverado will be offered in a variety of versions optimized for retail and fleet customers, and that GM expects it to have a range of more than 400 miles.
