George Clooney Says He Hadn't Fallen "Fully In Love" Until He Met Amal
George Clooney hadn't found true love until he met his wife, human rights attorney Amal Clooney.
The once longtime bachelor, who married Amal in 2014 after dating Amal for less than a year, spoke to the New York Times about how he put his work life before his relationship before meeting his now-wife.
"I had not found the person who filled everything for me that would have fallen in love with me," said the actor. "I've dated a lot of really great women, but Amal showed up and all of a sudden it was like, 'Well, that's different for me on every level.' I don't think I actively said, "I'm just going to work on my career and not have a wife." That was the story that was told about me, but it wasn't really the reality. "
While George was associated with many women prior to his relationship with Amal, he had few long-term public romances. George dated model Stacy Keibler from 2011 to 2013 and was linked with Elisabetta Canalis from 2009 to 2011. Between 2000 and 2005, he also had a long relationship with British model Lisa Snowdon.

In a November interview with CBS Sunday Morning's Tracy Smith, the Midnight Sky director also got poetic about his wife, with whom he shares three-year-old twins Ella and Alexander.

"There is no question that Amal changed everything for me in my life. No question about it," he said. "It was the first time that everything she did and everything about her was infinitely more important than everything about me."
And so a real Hollywood power couple was born.
