Georgia man, 19, dead after Applebee's fight, was 'all-American' with 'heart of gold,' family says

A Georgia man who passed out in a fist fight at an Applebee restaurant earlier this week has died, according to local reports.
Two young men arrived at the restaurant and confronted Kaleb Duckworth, 7, around 10 p.m. Sunday according to the police.
The fight arose out of an argument on social media, Duckworth's father, Tommy Duckworth, told FOX 5 Atlanta on Thursday.
"They argued and that split second changed everyone's life," he said.
Daniel Lee Roberts, 20, has been charged with aggravated assault and assault for allegedly throwing the blow that knocked Duckworth unconscious - but further charges are likely after the victim dies.
According to a crowdfunding account his mother's staff set up for the family, he had to be hospitalized with severe brain trauma in intensive care after the fall. According to police, he also suffered a severe cut on his face and broken bones.
Duckworth turned 19 on Saturday, according to FOX 5. He celebrated a River Float Day with family and friends.
"He could have spent it with his friends, but he came up to us and asked us to go with him," his mother Amanda Duckworth told the broadcaster.
"Little did I know at the time that this was the last day I would spend with him," added Tommy Duckworth.
In other interviews with local media, parents recalled their son as an "all-American" teen who loved spending time in his truck, outdoors, and fishing.
"He was just a little country boy with a heart of gold and he would give anyone the shirt off their back," Amanda Duckworth told the Dawson County News.
He was also an organ donor.
Around 2 p.m., according to Rikki Lynn Anderson, who organized the crowdfunding effort, hospital workers gave his remains an honor walk on Thursday before going into an operation that could potentially save up to five lives.
Roberts was held on a $ 60,000 bond.
