Georgia Tech recruit decommits following visit to Georgia

The Georgia Bulldogs could fight for the offensive lineman class of 2022 Griffin Scroggs again. Scroggs, who is the Guardian of Grayson High School, is listed as a three-star nominee.
Scroggs stands at 6-foot-4 and weighs 315 pounds. He was previously involved with the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets but has now announced his cancellation on Twitter:
I want to thank Coach Collins and Coach Key for giving me the opportunity to play for Ga Tech in the future, but after talking to my family and those close to me, I will pick myself up from Ga Tech.

Scroggs had previously signed with Georgia Tech in June.
The three-star offensive recruit holds numerous scholarship offers, but does not appear to be any bigger than the home state Georgia Bulldogs. Georgia offered Scroggs on June 9th.
Grayson High's product recently visited Athens and spent time with Offensive Line coach Matt Luke on June 10th. Scroggs visited Georgia again on July 31st.
Thanks for the great photos yesterday !! @CoachMattLuke @KirbySmartUGA

Will Griffin Scroggs get involved with Georgia? He's just left his engagement after visiting Athens, so his trip to the University of Georgia certainly made sense. We will provide updates as his recruitment develops.
