Ghostbusters documentary with original cast unveils first-look teaser

After Ghostbusters: Afterlife, the upcoming sequel to Ghostbusters, was postponed until March 2021 due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. There's one more thing that keeps fans going in the meantime.
A documentary about the legendary comedy from 1984, Cleanin 'Up the Town: Memory of Ghostbusters, will premiere next week.
The documentary contains over 40 interviews with the stars of the film and the creators who work behind the scenes and have contributed to shaping the world.

"For over 10 years in production, the documentary also documents the crew's success for visual effects in creating the ghosts in the pre-digital age, when special effects were still developing," says a statement.
"We really hope to inspire and educate audiences, fans, and filmmakers alike when we reveal the wonderful personalities, unparalleled talent, and craftsmanship who helped make a film that has conquered the hearts of generations; Ghostbusters. "
With the sequel on the horizon (a really distant horizon), this isn't the only time the original cast was brought together to discuss the film.

Earlier this week, frozen star Josh Gad shared a preview of the latest installment of his Reunited Apart series on YouTube, which featured some of the actors in the classic comedy.
He gathered the director of the film, Ivan Reitman, and actors Bill Murray (Peter Venkman), Dan Aykroyd (Ray Stantz), Ernie Hudson (Winston Zeddemore), Sigourney Weaver (Dana Barrett) and Annie Potts (Janine Melnitz) into one social distant catch. above.
