An emoji says more than a thousand words. Gisele Bundchen supported Tom Brady and his son Jack a month after the former couple announced their divorce.
"❤️ My inspiration ❤️," Brady, 45, wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, Nov. 23, alongside a photo of Jack, 15 - who he shares with ex Bridget Moynahan - at a game on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers home turf.
"❤️", commented Bundchen, 42, on the upload the following day.
The Buccaneers quarterback and the supermodel - who share son Benjamin, 12, and daughter Vivian, 9 - announced their divorce in October amid speculation about the state of their marriage.
"In the last few days my wife and I have finalized our divorce after 13 years of marriage," Brady wrote on his Instagram Story at the time. “We made this decision amicably and in gratitude for the time we had together. We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way. We will continue to work together as parents to ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve."
The football icon continued: "We wish each other nothing but the best as we pursue the new chapters in our lives that are yet to be written. And we politely ask for privacy and respect as we steer through what is to come in the days and weeks to come.”
For her part, the Brazilian native noted that the two will continue to raise their children together, adding, "The decision to end a marriage is never easy, but we grew apart and it's obviously difficult going through something like that for me." feel blessed for the time we had together and always wish Tom the best.”
The former couple has long been candid about their sweet relationships with their children.
In February 2020, Bundchen spoke openly about her role as Jack's stepmother, revealing at the time via her Instagram Story that she "prefers the word 'bonus mom' because I feel like it's a blessing in my life. I feel so fortunate to have had an especially wonderful little angel in my life.”
A year later, the Devil Wears Prada actress took to the platform to wish her 'Bonus' son a happy birthday and praised him for 'being the best big brother in the world'.
"Happy Birthday Jack! We are all so lucky to have you in our lives," she wrote at the time, alongside a photo of her, Brady and their kids. "Thank you for being the best big brother in the world. We love you sooo much! ❤️."
For his part, Brady has recently reflected on his own childhood and the immense support he received from his family growing up - and how he hopes to model that for his children.
"Thanksgiving, it's always family time," he told NBA legend Charles Barkley on the episode of his SiriusXM podcast Let's Go! with Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray.”
"When you think about that vacation and the commitment that parents and my parents have to me and my career, it's incredible," he recalled. "It's just that I'm on my 23rd season here and I'm looking forward to going strong here after Thanksgiving and of course with immense gratitude for the people who have made such a huge impact on my life and helped me during this amazing one." have supported careers. And, you know, I just want to be that for my kids. I just want to be the best dad I can be."
