Giuliani told to prepare for 'imminent' legal action from Dominion Voting Systems
Attorneys Tom Clare and Megan Meier of Clare Lock LLP, a law firm specializing in defamation cases, sent letters to President Trump's personal attorney Rudy Giuliani and White House attorney Pat Cipollone on Wednesday warning them of "impending" legal action on their behalf from Dominion Voting Systems, reports CNN.
Giuliani and Cipollone have also reportedly been asked to keep all documents related to Dominion, which was at the heart of presidential election conspiracy theories. The request was large and reportedly included records of communications between Trump and a White House employee with Rudy Giuliani or lawyers Sidney Powell, Jenna Ellis and Lin Wood. Ellis and Giuliani worked on the Trump campaign's long-term efforts to overthrow the presidential election results officially, while Powell and Wood did so technically independently.

On Wednesday, a Dominion executive filed a defamation lawsuit against the Trump campaign and several conservative media personalities and companies. And CNN reported last week that the campaign's legal team had already instructed employees to keep documents related to Dominion and Powell in anticipation of legal action.
There's no evidence to back up any claims made by Trump allies about Dominion or widespread election fraud in the 2020 election. Read more on CNN.
