Greg Norman won't be home for Christmas this year.
65-year-old Norman posted a few photos on Instagram on Friday, showing themselves in a hospital room. Norman didn't say outright that he tested positive for COVID-19, but he announced the day before that he had been quarantined at his Jupiter, Florida home with COVID-like symptoms.
"That sums it all up. My Christmas Day," wrote Norman. "On behalf of millions, f --- CoVid. [Let's get this s --- over and done with never to see it again."
On Christmas Eve, Norman said he had a negative COVID-19 test on Tuesday, but he still has several symptoms related to the novel coronavirus.
"I'm showing mild symptoms of potentially COVID, not too sure," Norman said. "I feel very flu-like, I have a low fever, I have a cough, I have pain, I have a slight headache. ... I look forward to getting out of this quarantine and looking forward to the great future for 2021 and beyond to build up. "
Norman took part in the PNC championship last weekend in Orlando, Florida, finishing ninth alongside his son Greg Jr.
