health hurdle. Hailey Bieber revealed her "painful" swollen abdomen from a very large ovarian cyst "the size of an apple".
"I don't have endometriosis or PCOS but I've gotten an ovarian cyst a few times and it's never fun," the 26-year-old model explained via her Instagram Stories on Monday, Nov. 28.
The Rhode founder shared a photo of her bare stomach, noting that her protruding stomach is "not a baby" but rather the effects of the nasty cyst.

"It hurts and hurts and I feel nauseous and bloated and spasmodic and emotional," Hailey continued. "I'm sure many of you can relate and understand excessively. We have that."
This isn't the first time the New York native has opened up about her health struggles. She was hospitalized in March 2022 after suffering from stroke-like symptoms.
While having breakfast with husband Justin Bieber, whom she married in September 2018, she recalled experiencing a "strange feeling" down her right arm. She "couldn't speak" and the right side of her face "started to sag" when the "Purpose" singer asked if she was okay.
"I immediately thought I was having a stroke," she said of "the scariest moment of my life." Luckily, Hailey recovered quickly after the scary incident.
"They determined that I had sustained a very small blood clot in my brain that caused a small lack of oxygen, but my body had gone on its own and I made a full recovery within a few hours," she explained in an April 2022 YouTube video What happened.
Her doctors told her there are three factors that could likely have caused the clot.
"One was that I just recently started birth control pills, which I never should have taken because I'm someone who suffers from migraines anyway," she said. "And I just didn't talk to my doctor about it."
Other factors included that the influencer had recently recovered from COVID-19 and she had taken a long flight home from Paris to California "in a very short amount of time."
All in all, it was "the perfect storm" to trigger a transient ischemic attack (TIA), often referred to as a mini-stroke.
"The conclusion was that I had a blood clot that went into my heart and what usually happens when you have a small blood clot is the heart filters the blood clot into your lungs and your lungs absorb it," Hailey continued . "What happened to me is that my blood clot actually escaped through the valve or hole in my heart and went into my brain and that's why I suffered a TIA."
