Details: It is alleged that the State Emergency Service bomb disposal team conducted a very risky operation to neutralize the FAB-500 bomb.
As early as March, a Russian plane dropped a bomb on Kharkiv, hit the roof of a high-rise apartment building in Pivnichna Saltivka and got stuck on its technical floor.

An FAB-500 is a heavy, unguided, high-explosive bomb carrying 300 kg of explosives. It could have destroyed the whole building, but fortunately it didn't work.
Back in March, State Emergency Service bomb disposal experts deactivated the bomb by unscrewing a contact fuse. However, it was impossible to use heavy equipment to fully recover and neutralize it - the constant shelling continued.
Now a special rescue vehicle, a forklift, a bomb disposal vehicle, a heavy mobile crane and about ten bomb disposal experts and rescuers are involved in the operation.
The bomb was removed for further disposal.
