How the 700 mph hyperloop concept could become the fastest way to travel
Countries in Europe and Asia are filled with high-speed bullet trains that take passengers from Paris to London or Tokyo to Kyoto in 2.5 hours. But Hyperloops could theoretically get passengers from Los Angeles to San Francisco in 45 minutes. The Hyperloop concept grew in popularity in 2013 when Elon Musk wrote his Hyperloop Alpha paper, but the US doesn't have one yet. So what is the robbery? Technology, money, and construction matter. Virgin Hyperloop is on the way to developing the first Hyperloop and will be testing a 100 km / h run using magnetic levitation technology in November.
