I knew Casey's Corner was a popular spot, but I hadn't tried the fan favorites yet. Jenna Clark
Located in Magic Kingdom, Casey's Corner is one of the cheapest restaurants in Disney World.
I went there for lunch and spent $38.08 to try four of the popular menu items.
The food, especially the corn dog nuggets, was delicious and the service was excellent.

Casey's Corner is a fast food restaurant at the end of Main Street USA near the Magic Kingdom entrance.

The restaurant, which serves lunch and dinner, is known for its baseball theme and menu of American favorites, including hot dogs, corn dog nuggets, and french fries.
Although the restaurant encouraged mobile ordering, I decided to go inside.
Several signs outside the restaurant encouraged people to order by phone. Jenna Clark
Outside the restaurant there were several signs with a QR code that you could scan to place your order through the My Disney Experience app.
Although the restaurant encouraged mobile ordering, I didn't want to use this feature. Instead, I was able to go inside to place my order and pay at a register.
The line to order was shorter than I expected considering the parade was coming to an end.

The 3 p.m. Festival of Fantasy parade made its way down Main Street USA, so I was surprised at how short the line was to order food at Casey's.

But I was happy as I was quite hungry.
I only had to wait about five minutes to place my order with a very friendly member of staff. They did a wonderful job of repeating everything to me to make sure it was correct, which I appreciated as it was a bit noisy.
The worker who gave me my tray was both entertaining and friendly.
Got a free drink after placing my order. Jenna Clark
I only had to wait about five minutes for my food, which again pleasantly surprised me. I've never had to wait extremely long at other quick service restaurants in Magic Kingdom, but it usually takes more than five minutes for my food to be ready.
I really enjoyed waiting for my order as the member of staff responsible for calling the "batters" (guests) to the "platter" (pick up counter) was very energetic and friendly. He made small talk with me and the other guests.

Even in a moment as simple as waiting for food, he was able to cast magic for guests, which enhanced the experience. I had a "magic moment," as it's often called in the parks, when he gave me a free large coke, which I wasn't expecting.
The restaurant has numerous outdoor seating areas with beautiful views of the park.
It was full, but there were still enough places. Jenna Clark
I was surprised by the amount of outdoor seating the restaurant had. I didn't have to worry about whether or not my group would get a place to eat as both tables with seating and standing tables were available.
But I was glad I was able to find a table with chairs as I prefer to sit while eating - my feet were sore from a long day at the park.
As it was a cooler day, al fresco dining didn't bother me. In addition, the tables offered a beautiful view of Cinderella Castle and the Hub Grass area in front of it.
I ordered a lot of food because I wanted to try as much as possible.
Luckily my boyfriend and sister were able to share it with me. Jenna Clark
Really wanting to get a feel for the restaurant, I tried a little bit of everything.
I ordered the plant-based loaded slaw dog ($12.29), corn dog nuggets ($10.49), chili cheese fries ($6.49), and a pressed penny silk cake ($6 $.49).
I knew there was going to be a lot of food and I didn't want it to go to waste, so I invited my sister and friend to come along. I was grateful that I did it because there was no way I could have finished it on my own.
The corn dog nuggets were sweet and delicious.
The corn dog nuggets are one of Casey's most popular items. Jenna Clark
I had never tried corn dog nuggets before, so I had no expectations of how they would taste.
I don't normally eat hot dog meat, but the corn dog nuggets are a staple and fan favorite at Casey's Corner, so I made an exception.
The overall flavor was delicious and I loved the sweetness of the cornmeal.
The food also came with just the right number of nuggets. I was glad they came with fries -- $10.49 for the corn dog nuggets alone would have been a lot.
The plant-based Loaded Slaw dog was very tasty.
Casey's has a vegan hot dog option. Jenna Clark
Since I don't usually eat hot dogs, I was happy to see a vegan-friendly option on the menu.
Although Casey's Corner has some larger hot dogs, I liked that the plant-based slaw was a more average size.
I found the plant-based "sausage" really tasty and particularly liked the grilled vegan aioli topping.
There was also a choice of side dishes so I chose the fries thinking they would be good for standard fries.
The chili cheese fries were good but I think I'll stick with regular fries next time.
I liked the cheese on the chili cheese fries. Jenna Clark
I was inclined to try the chili cheese fries as I don't have them often.
They were good but I was hoping for a little more chili considering they cost $2 more than a standard order of fries.
I was glad I tried them because the cheese was really tasty.
I couldn't leave without trying the dessert.
I was pleasantly surprised by the custom cake. Jenna Clark
One of my favorite parts of the meal was the dessert. I tried the pressed penny silk cake.
As a chocolate lover, this dessert was one of the best I've had at a Magic Kingdom fast food restaurant.
It was definitely worth $6.49.
While I ate I could watch the famous piano player.
I even had to ask him to play the "Happily Ever After" theme. Jenna Clark
As soon as we got our food, the pianist from Casey's Corner began his performance.
We had a great view from our table and I enjoyed listening to him play Christmas classics alongside some Disney favourites.
He even played my favorite song "Happily Ever After", the theme of one of Magic Kingdom's fireworks shows. It felt very special to hear while I was eating.
I will definitely visit Casey's Corner again.
I loved the food, service and prices at Casey's. Jenna Clark
As someone who visits Magic Kingdom about three times a week, I'm always looking for ways to save money, especially on food and snacks.
The four menu items I ordered were $38.08, which I thought was very reasonable considering the amount of food we got.
Now that I've tried a few samples of what the restaurant has to offer, I will definitely be returning to Casey's Corner for the corn dog nuggets and pressed penny silk cake.
