I'm a former Starbucks barista. Here are 5 drinks that are so overrated and what to order instead.

I think the pink drink is overrated. Try a dragon fruit refresher instead. Paige DiFiore
I was a Starbucks barista for a year, and I think some overrated drink orders should be changed.
If you like the pink drink, you should try the even better Mango Dragonfruit Refresher.
Starbucks' Caramel Apple Spice is way better than their Pumpkin Spice Lattes.
Working at Starbucks for a year, I learned a lot about what beverages are popular with customers.
While many of the mainstream hits are tasty, I think there are better, underrated alternatives worth trying instead.

Pumpkin Spice Lattes get all the hype, but the Caramel Apple Spice is a grossly underrated fall beverage

The most anticipated Christmas drink is the Pumpkin Spice Latte, but the real MVP for fall is the Caramel Apple Spice.
You don't have to be a caramel lover to enjoy this one either.
Made with steamed apple juice and a few pumps of cinnamon dolce syrup, it's a lighter holiday drink and a nod to cider. As it is a regular menu item, you can also order it all year round instead of having to wait a season.
Java Chip may be a popular frappuccino, but the mocha version is vastly superior

The only difference between the Mocha Frappuccino and the Java Chip Frappuccino is that the latter has Frappuccino chips and a mocha drizzle. Having said that, I think both drinks have quite different degrees of sweetness.
If you like sweet drinks but don't want to overdo it, I recommend the mocha version. It's easier and can satisfy your sweet tooth without possibly hurting it.
If you're a fan of Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew, be sure to try the nitro version
A regular cold brew comes with plenty of Starbucks ice cream, giving you fewer drinks and more obstacles. Nitro Cold Brew is basically a smoother, less watery version of regular cold brew - it's pre-chilled so ice is left out of the drink.
Nitro Cold Brew is usually around $1 more than regular, but I think it's a better deal. You get a smoother, richer coffee flavor profile that pairs irresistibly with the vanilla sweet cream topper.
The pink drink is overrated - mango dragonfruit is the best refreshment
If you like the pink drink, try other refreshers.Paige DiFiore
Because the Pink Drink is made with coconut milk, it has a tropical flavor. But if you're looking for something a little more refreshing that isn't creamy but still has a tropical feel, the Mango Dragonfruit Refresher is for you.
The hint of dragon fruit combined with mango will easily satisfy that craving and transport you to the sunny tropics. If you still want a creamy quality to your drink, ask for a Mango Dragonfruit Refresher with coconut milk.
A caffè misto is a must if you're tired of traditional lattes
Lattes are usually 2/3 milk and 1/3 espresso, but the milk can overpower and dilute the flavor of the coffee.
So if you want to enjoy a classic latte and taste a little stronger without having to add another shot of espresso, try a caffè misto.
Often referred to as a cafè au lait by the French, a caffè misto has a one-to-one ratio of brewed coffee to frothed milk.
