I'm a cat owner - which means I have to take into account the reality that weird spots and stains are appearing all over my house. From the wet food she sprays over my walls the Jackson Pollock way to the tiny scratches she leaves on my cupboards, my cat keeps me busy. If I don't vacuum their fur, I'll wipe a surface.
Of course I love my cat. But the stains and splatters, many of which I could never completely get rid of? Not as much. And after trying everything from magic erasers to gas scrubbers to stain removers that remove everything but the actual stain, I almost gave up. That is, until TikTok was oh so convenient for me to come across a cleaning solution that promised to help.
TikToker branded The Pink Stuff as the best, fastest, and cheapest way to remove stains. I've scrolled through hundreds of videos with users posting them on walls, pots, countertops, and window panes practically everywhere. It seems like I'm not the only one obsessed - the hashtag #pinkstuff has over 57.1 million views.

I managed to secure a tub on Amazon for less than $ 10 (it's often out of stock, likely due to TikTok stalkers like me who want one for themselves) and it came in all of theirs the next day pink splendor.
Now the name makes perfect sense: it's a pink paste that turns light pink when applied. The tub is massive too: it weighs about a pound, so you get a ton of bang for your buck.

Look, something so cheap and something so bright must smell of chemicals, right? Not correct! It has a slight floral scent so you don't have to hold your breath when you open the jar. Simply use a cloth or sponge to apply (many TikTokers swear by the Scrub Daddy) and gently scrub the stain off. It only takes minimal elbow fat - in just a few minutes the leftover cat food on my walls was gone for good. It took a little longer to finish the scratches and stains on the paw print, but now they're gone too.
According to countless TikToks and over 24,000 five-star reviews from Amazon, it works on almost every surface. Parents swear by it they'll remove permanent marker stains left by Picasso's toddler, while chefs insist that they remove stubborn stains on cutlery, pots and pans. If you've had a stain for years, try The Pink Stuff - it could change your life. One TikToker even used it to freshen up their sneakers:

Shoppers are tickled pink by The Pink Stuff - it has even been used to make their shower look as good as new:
"Oh my god - this stuff is a life changer!" She writes. "I used it to completely clean my fiberglass shower. Nothing else would do it and this stuff brought my shower back to almost new in one use. Since then we've removed a strange film of chalk from our garage door, removed wall markings, and got mine." Storm door cleaned. We'll never be without a glass (or three) of this stuff. "
It's also a must have for colored pencil creations:
"I'm in love. It's official," wrote one obsessed shopper. "I'm obsessed with magic erasers, but sometimes they don't work on all jobs. We live in an apartment out of town when my son decided to write all over the wall in crayon. but this place is flat paint and a magic eraser would have ripped it off. The pink stuff was recommended by a friend and I'm obsessed! It didn't damage the wall, I like the scent and best of all, the crayon came off with minimal scrubbing . "
Another buyer used the paste to remove scratches from her car:
"I had hit a traffic cone recently with my white car, so you can imagine my excitement when four different brands of scratch removal were not working and I see this stuff," she shared. "This stuff immediately removed those marks with one touch of the fabric. Then I had to walk around my vehicle to find little marks that I could remove with this material."
Cleaning professionals are also enthusiastic:
One interrupted: "I'm a professional house cleaner and I don't think I'll ever want to go without this product again! Nothing else cleaned my oven door ... it worked with a little elbow grease. It's completely clean now!" ! It has a pot that I've had for 15 years and that looks new. I can't wait to use it in my clients' homes. "
