In other white Christmas news, 74 pounds of cocaine found floating off the Florida Keys

The Keys Sheriff's office came across white stuff during Christmas week. But it wasn't the usual kind of snow.
About 74 pounds of cocaine were discovered swimming by a fisherman in the Lower Keys on Wednesday afternoon. The fisherman, who was boating south of Sugarloaf Key, notified the deputy of a Monroe County sheriff who was on a naval patrol at the time.
Because the floating packages were in federal waters, the packages were placed on a Monroe County sheriff's patrol boat and handed over to the U.S. Border Police.

In July, more than 50 pounds of cocaine washed up near Grassy Key. Earlier this month, 29 cocaine stones landed in the town of Marathon in Middle Keys, according to federal agents.
More than 30 pounds of marijuana washed up in the Keys in October. Eight pounds landed in Key Largo and another 23 pounds washed up near Big Pine Key.
